FAQ
Minimums, weights, tolerances, lead times and payment — the things a buyer normally has to email and wait for. Anything not here, send it with your enquiry.
Minimums & Ordering
What is your minimum order quantity?
100 pieces per style per colour for garments, and 500 kg per quality for fabric bought by the roll. Three colours of one style is 300 pieces, run on the same block, which keeps the price closer to a larger order.
How to find a clothing manufacturer for a startup
Start with a factory whose minimum you can actually meet. Ours is 100 pieces per style per colour, so a first run does not need capital you do not have. Send a sketch or a tech pack, we quote in USD, and a pre-production sample follows in 7 to 12 days.
Do you make my own designs, or only your styles?
Both. Send a tech pack and we produce it as full OEM from cloth to carton, or pick a style from the readymade collection and we run it under your label.
What do you need in a tech pack?
A sketch or spec sheet, a size chart with measurements, the fabric or GSM, colour references, trims and labelling, decoration artwork and your packing requirement. If something is missing we will tell you what to send.
Can I buy fabric without ordering garments?
Yes. Cloth is sold by the roll from 500 kg per quality per colour. The full range is on the fabrics page.
Fabric & GSM
What GSM is best for hoodies?
Most hoodies sit at 280 GSM in loop-back fleece or French terry. For a heavier, structured winter piece, 3-thread fleece at 350 GSM. We knit both in house — see the hoodie page.
What is the difference between fleece and French terry?
The face is knitted the same way. Fleece is brushed on the inside, raising a soft pile that holds warmth. French terry leaves the loops unbrushed, so it is lighter, more breathable and keeps its shape better in warm climates. We knit both at 280 and 350 GSM.
What GSM should a t-shirt be?
160 GSM for a light, breathable tee and warm markets. 200 GSM for retail weight with better opacity and print behaviour. 260 GSM for heavy and garment-washed styles. Detail on the t-shirt page.
Can you match a specific colour?
Yes. Send a Pantone reference or a physical swatch and we match it from lab dip through to bulk, with batch records kept per shade so repeat orders land on the first colour.
Can you knit a quality that is not on your list?
Yes. Twenty-five qualities run as standard, but GSM, blend and construction are built to your specification rather than to our stock list. Send the spec or a swatch and we match it.
Production & Quality
How long does a sample take?
A pre-production sample is ready in 7 to 12 days. Bulk production runs 15 to 30 days after you approve that sample.
Can you provide lab test reports?
Yes. Third-party lab test reports are provided for production on request — composition, GSM, shrinkage, colour fastness and any additional test your market requires.
Do you print and embroider in house?
Yes. Screen, digital, sublimation and heat transfer print, plus embroidery, 3D puff, patches and labelling, all on our own floors — so decoration never adds an external queue to the lead time.
What tolerance do you work to?
Shade is approved against an agreed lab dip. GSM and delivered quantity carry a ±5% tolerance, which is standard for knitted goods. The full position is in the terms of sale.
Shipping, Payment & Terms
How do you ship and quote?
Quotes are in USD on FOB, CIF or DDP terms, with all export documentation handled by us. Tell us the delivery country and we quote accordingly.
What are your payment terms?
50% advance against a confirmed order, balance against documents. Set out in full in the terms of sale.
Who owns the artwork and patterns?
You do. Artwork, tech packs and blocks you supply remain yours, and we do not run them for anyone else.
How fast do you reply to an enquiry?
Within the hour on WhatsApp during working hours. Email the same day. Send a spec and you get a quote back, not a brochure.
